Shipping policy

We take as much care packaging your order as we do making it. Every Emberwood & Hearth candle, woodwork piece, and accessory is carefully wrapped and boxed before it leaves our hands.

Where We Ship

We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states. We do not ship internationally at this time. If you're outside the contiguous U.S. (Alaska, Hawaii), please note that shipping costs and estimated delivery times may vary.

Processing Time

All orders are processed and packed by hand. Please allow 2–5 business days for processing before your order ships. Processing time may be extended during high-volume periods such as holidays, product launches, or market weekends — we will communicate any delays.

Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.

Shipping Carriers & Methods

We ship primarily via USPS Ground Advantage. In some cases — particularly for heavier or multi-item orders shipping to higher postal zones — we may route your order through USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate to ensure value and protection.

Estimated delivery times after shipment:

  • USPS Ground Advantage: 2–5 business days
  • USPS Priority Mail: 1–3 business days

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for carrier delays.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your order and your delivery address. You'll see the exact cost before you complete your purchase — no surprises. We do not mark up shipping costs.

How We Package Your Order

Our packaging is designed to protect your products and reflect the care that goes into making them. Depending on your order, it will ship in one of three configurations:

  • Single candle: compact mailer box with internal cushioning
  • 2–3 candles or mixed items: medium box with protective wrapping
  • 4–8 items: larger box with full padding and interior separation

Fragile items are cushioned to survive transit.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email. You can use that number on USPS.com to follow your delivery. If you haven't received a tracking email within 6 business days of placing your order, please reach out to us through our Contact Page.

Damaged or Lost Orders

We package every order carefully, but occasionally things happen in transit. If your order arrives damaged:

  • Take photos of the damaged packaging and product before discarding anything.
  • Reach us through our Contact Page. within 5 days of delivery.
  • We'll review and work with you on a replacement or resolution.

If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package, please first check with neighbors and your local post office, then contact us. We'll do our best to help, but we are not liable for packages confirmed as delivered to the address provided.

Incorrect Address

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout. If you notice an error immediately after ordering, contact us right away through our Contact Page— we'll do everything we can to correct it before the order ships.

Bulk & Boutique Partnership Orders

Boutique partnership orders are shipped under separate terms agreed upon at the time of the order. All bulk orders are final sale and require full payment before shipment. Please refer to your boutique partnership agreement for details.
